Little Theatre of Bedford is pleased to announce auditions for its production of “The Curious Savage,” the final production of the 2015-16 season. Auditions will be held at the theatre at 1704 Brian Lane Way on Monday and Tuesday March 7 and 8 at 7:00 p.m. The cast of eleven calls for 6 females and 5 males, aged 16 and older. Most parts are for adults aged 25-50, with a few roles that could be made slightly younger or older. Those auditioning should need only attend one evening, according to the play’s director Josh Landers.
The play, set in the 1950s, tells the story of the widowed Mrs. Ethel Savage, and her attempt to keep her deceased husband’s money from her greedy children. In doing so, she finds herself placed in a sanatorium where she meets a cast of characters who at first glance might seem crazy, but are eventually revealed to be the fools of good heart.
